01: INTRODUCING YOURSELF

Cuando llegamo a un lugar o nos encontramos con alguien por primera vez, damos información personal.

Eso es lo que llamamos "Introducing Yourself"

 Para eso, debemos seguir los siguientes pasos.

When we get a place or we first meet someone, we give our personal information.

That is "Introducing Yourself"

 To do this, we have to follow those steps:

- Hello! My name is....  (Say your name)
  
- I am from .... (Say the place where you are from)

- I am ...... years old    (Say your age)

- I am a ....    (Say your profession)

  It's nice to meet you!  
(Say this to express you are glad to first meet the person)

EXAMPLE:

Hello! My name is Mario

I am from Concepción, Chile

I am 30 years old

I am a Spanish Teacher.

It's nice to meet you!

IMPORTANT!

(For INFORMAL situations, say your name)

Hi *, my name is James.

I am from the United States and am 32 years old

I am an English teacher in a high school here in Connecticut

(*) Hi is synonym of HELLO. You use Hi for Informal situations. 

(For FORMAL situations, say your name* and last name**) 

 Hello! My name is Laura Ordoñez

 I am from Spain

 I am 28 years old

I study and work at the south of Spain

(*)   Laura is her name
(**) Ordoñez is her last name
